Our Approach
Learners develop 21st century skills that focus on learning to learn, learning to do, and learning to be:
- Adaptive online, game-based and self-paced programs (such as Khan Academy) for core skills like math, reading comprehension, grammar, and spelling
- Twice-daily Socratic discussions to strengthen critical-thinking
- Hands-on, real-world projects that solve real problems
- Public exhibitions every 6 weeks, including a Children's Business Fair.
- Life-changing apprenticeships from age 12 to 18
We believe each person who enters our doors deserves to find a calling and change the world.
Our Mission
No grades, just Badges. They develop the habits needed in the real world to deliver excellent work. Badges give learners a way to store and display accomplishments that have been verified by studio mates. Badges also can be translated into a traditional high school transcript to impress colleges.
